WHAT TO EXPECT

What will I experience during Worship?

  • What time is worship?

Our Sunday morning Bible study groups begin at 9:30. Our worship service follows at 10:30.

  • Where will I park?

You may park in the front of our main building or in the back. The front lot entrance is on Marlboro Road. The back lot has two entry points - Ringgold Road and Marlboro Road.

  • What should I expect?

You will see a group of people who have come together to meet God in worship, to hear His word preached, to pray, to sing, and to praise the Lord.  There will be men and women, children and youth, old and young, gathered around One God and His Son Jesus Christ.  We believe that God works miracles in His family and equips each and every member for service in His kingdom.  God’s Word is honored as absolute truth and is delivered in a way that is both powerful and practical.

  • What kind of music will I hear?

We draw from several worship styles at Crosspath. Our goal is to honor our past while also presenting fresh, new worship experiences. We do this by blending hymns and current worship music, with a contemporary perspective. We are committed to both a spirit of excellence and a spirit of worship in our music. Our hope is to create a life-altering, Spirit-led environment that brings glory to God.

  • What will my kids do?

Children are treasured at Crosspath and are always welcomed in worship. There is a nursery available for infants through four-year-olds that many parents use as an option during worship. The 3- and 4-year olds participate in a Preschool Children’s Church designed especially for them. Children in Kindergarten through the 5th grade are invited to participate in an exciting and energized Children’s Worship in the children’s center.

  • What about my teens?

Teens will participate in corporate worship along with you. During Sunday School at 9:30 am there is a special Sunday School designed for your teens. On Wednesday Nights at 6:00 pm, there is also a special time of worship just for your teens.

  • What should I wear?

Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing. Most people dress casually, some even wearing jeans and flip flops. A few may choose to dress in suits and ties. But most importantly, wear whatever makes YOU comfortable.

  • Will anyone ask me to say or do anything?

You will not be called upon in any way. We want to treat our guests with respect. We are blessed that you would take the time to come our way. ᅠYou will be invited to fill out a visitor’s card but you are not required to do so.
